| Description | | On 1 September 2011 an Invitation for Expression of Interest was released to commence the tender process for the New Bendigo Hospital. The process has concluded and the shortlisted tenderers are:
- Intecare (John Laing, Theiss, RBS, Theiss Services)
- Exemplar (Capella Capital, Lend Lease, Siemens, Spotless Services)

The new hospital will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership in accordance with the national framework and Partnerships Victoria requirements.
The PPP model for the Bendigo Hospital is a design, build, finance and maintain model, with the medical services being provided by Bendigo Health.
The Government has committed $630 million in capital funding for the project and associated enabling works.
The existing hospital will remain operational throughout construction. Clearance works have already begun for the construction of the new hospital. |
